in general eye exam, we check eyelids, cornea, lens, eye muscles ,retina and optic nerves. We also check intraocular pressure(for glaucoma) of every patient.there are many eye diseases which do not give any symptoms .since early diagnosis and treatment is very important,we recommend annual eye exams to every individual.we also make tests for refractive errors to detect and treat myopia,hyperopia and astigmatism. In cases when we diagnose any pathology ,we sometimes perform further scans (such as optic coherence tomography corneal topography,corneal pachimetry, ultrasonography,field test and fluorescein angiograpy ) to better understand and treat the condition .
